Liebe Familie Schnöll Was kann man dem Schreiben von TATA noch hinzufügen? Auch uns hat es riesig gefallen in Ihrem schönen perfekt geführten Hotel mit lauter freundlichen Menschen. Ebenfalls ist die Lage Ihres schönen Hotels einzigartig! Deshalb kommen wir ganz bestimmt wieder Mit herzlichen Grüßen Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren!
Wir haben für gestern anlässlich des Muttertages
einen Tisch in ihrem Gastgarten reserviert und möchten Ihnen dazu
mitteilen, dass wir sowohl mit Ihrem Speisenangebot als auch mit dem
Service (unser Tisch wurde von einem sehr freundlichen, höflichen und
flinken Kellner aus Deutschland betreut) sehr zufrieden waren. Wir
können Ihr Restaurant bestens weiterempfehlen und werden auch bei
nächster Gelegenheit wieder zu Ihnen kommen. Es war uns ein Bedürfnis,
Ihnen das mitzuteilen, weil man sich normalerweise leider eher dazu
entschließt, sich über etwas zu beschweren als ein verdientes Lob
auszusprechen.

Wohnen auf dem Lande, in einem alten historischen Gebäude? Gut Essen und
Trinken? Angenehme Atmosphäre und wirkich freundlich und zuvorkommende
Bedienung?
Beim Doktorwirt können Sie wirklich entspannen. Das Lokal gewinnt insbesondere in der warmen Jahreszeit mit seinem schönen abgeschlossenen Gastgarten. Freibad, Hallenbad, Dampfbad und Solarium, freies Internet - alles vorhanden! Die Zimmer sind nett ausgestattet. Natürlich muss man bei einem historischen Gebäude bedacht auf die Bausubstanz nehmen. Einige Dinge sind in derartig alten Räumlichkeiten schwer umzusetzen - stören jedoch den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck! harlon, Bregenz, Qype 19.1.2011

I have been here in Salzburg for two days having a wonderful time. Three
more days to go. Yesterday a walking tour of Old Town including the
Fortress. Today a Sound of music tour and then 2 days of renting a car
to see the surround areas.
Thanks to LizR the destination expert for Salzburg for recommending the family-owned and run Hotel Doktorwirt. http://www.doktorwirt.at/ I love it and the people, service, food, accomodations and location is great! It is in Aigen and very peaceful and quiet and a short trip on the great public bus for 2 euros each way.

you and the whole Schnoell family for making my special birthday present
even better that I hoped for. I don’t know if you know the whole story but
my family had been saving for four years to give me a special birthday
present but they weren’t sure what to spend the money on. Then I happened

especially thank you for your kindness on the morning we left. The views
of the Untersberg and mountains were spectacular (I am sure you fixed that
for us!) and it was really kind of Karl junior to drive us to the airport
it did make life simpler and more comfortable. Thanks too for the
breakfasts you gave us. We enjoyed ours in the airport though I didn’t eat
my piece of cake till I got back home where I had it with a cup of tea.
The others enjoyed their breakfast at the hotel and it meant the children
had less time to spend at the airport which was more
comfortable for everyone. Airports are always boring even for the adults.

At the airport we were talking about our favourite moment on the holiday and everyone had different ones. Mine was walking up from the bus stop with all of them then I really believed my dream was coming true.

I would never stay anywhere else in Salzburg. The
rural setting of the Doktorwirt give a tranquil feel to my holiday but is
only a short bus ride away from the centre of the old town. The Schnöll
family are consummate professionals and ensure the needs of their guests
are met. The cuisine is superb, the food sourced locally and always
perfectly cooked and presented. Their leisure facilities are varied and
the Doktorwirt’s large garden, with unhindered views of the Gaisberg
mountain, is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. I can’t wait for my
next visit.

Gibt nichts Schöneres als dort im Gasthaus unter den Kastanien gut zu essen, hinten raus im Garten beim Pool zu liegen und nach einer Festspielaufführung dem Trubel und der Hitze der Stadt zu entkommen und noch entspannt eine Kleinigkeit auf der Terrasse zu essen. Dazu Laufmöglichkeit vorm Haus, Schlechtwettervarianten im Haus und die freundlichste Bewirtung von ganz Österreich! Mein absoluter Salzburg-Favorit! I did not wish a day to pass without extending my deepest appreciation to you and your fine staff for the wonderful hospitality that was provided to Chef Zinmmermann and our MAC group. We are especially grateful for your extra kindnesses to The Zimmermann and Harper’s. The rooms were bright and very comfortable. The dinners were absolutely perfect and presented beautifully.
